Though premium memberships exist, you can join LinkedIn and use many of their resources for free (including the job search function). The memberships can help you build your connections faster, but they are unnecessary.

  • Showcase Skills: LinkedIn allows job seekers to create a professional profile that showcases their skills, experience, and achievements. This can help them to stand out to potential employers and recruiters.

Which is better, indeed or LinkedIn?

While LinkedIn and Indeed are essential when it comes to finding a new job, they are vastly different platforms.

If you are looking for a large number of job listings and the least amount of time invested into the platform, Indeed is right for you. But if you want to build a long-lasting career with a large network that can help aid in your future, I’d go with LinkedIn (our choice).

You can’t go wrong with either, but our favorite is LinkedIn due to its ability to generate relationships on the platform. This will often speed up the job search process and present more qualified opportunities to job seekers.
